I read in different sites that estrogen delay atherosclerosis...
could u plz, clarify that more?!

There are two forms of fat circulating with the blood "lipoproteins". One of them are very good and the other is very bad
Estrogen decrease the level of the bad form lipoproteins "LDL" and elevate the level of the good form "HDL".
So estrogen give natural protection for the women against athersclerosis and hypertension
